On June 19, the Takoradi edition of the National Dialogue on the Future of Volunteering brought together students, academia, civil society, non-governmental organization and government actors at Takoradi Technical University. Organized by Centre for Volunteerism and Social Transformation (CENVAST) and CEGENDA, the dialogue formed part of the build-up to IVY 2026, the UN-declared International Year for Volunteers for Sustainable Development.

Highlights included inclusive participation from students with hearing impairments and a powerful call for Ghana to adopt a National Volunteer Policy to guide youth development and national progress.
