We are a non-profit organization founded on the vision of promoting the values of volunteerism
Centre for Volunteerism and Social Transformation (CENVAST) was founded on the principles of understanding the act of charity and knowing the immense potential of volunteerism in youth development and empowerment, peace building and national development. We exist on the belief that volunteerism promotes the rights, dignity and culture diversity with mutual benefits among volunteers and their community.
CENVAST is positioned to advocate for and support the promotion of volunteerism for the achievement of sustainable development goals. We desire to inspire people to give back to society through services as we practically take up social intervention projects with support from partners and donor agencies.
Our Mission
Our mission is to act as a centre for offering quality training and capacity building, research & development to empower individuals, groups and corporate organisations taking up volunteering activities and programmes to pursue their charitable activities and corporate social investments.

Our Objectives
For the benefit of promoting charitable activities by connecting volunteers and organizations, the centre shall;
- create and implement training programmes for individuals and organizations involved in volunteerism
- liaise with international partner agencies and organizations to expand the scope volunteer activities and implement social investment projects
- foster links to promote local and international volunteer activities and network of skilled and professional volunteers
- support persons and organizations engaged in, and willing to involve volunteers in their charitable activities
- undertake action research for development of innovative approach and practices to improve volunteer activities for community and national development
